LITHIUM
Lithium developer Pilbara Minerals has signed a second offtake agreement with a Chinese group over the early supply of direct shipping ore (DSO) from the Pilgangoora lithium/tantalum project, in Western Australia. Under the agreement, Pilbara will supply 1.9-million tonnes run-of-mine over two years, with first delivery targeted from July next year. The company can elect to supply the DSO ore from the Pilgangoora project, or the adjoining higher-grade Lynas Find lithium project.
