WASTE TREATMENT
Local waste management company Interwaste – a Séché Environnement Group company – has launched its R100-million leachate and effluent treatment plant in Delmas, Mpumalanga. The company describes the plant as a “first of its kind in South Africa,” noting that it marks a step forward in environmental stewardship and resource recovery. Sabrina Jardim tells us more.
