One is better than two with Atlas Copco UD+ single filter technology

Atlas Copco Compressor Technique’s patent-pending UD+ compressed air single cartridge in-line filter solution gives a 40% lower pressure drop and removes contamination in compressed air down to 0.01 ppm. In-line filters are commonly used in industrial applications to decontaminate compressed air lines by removing concentrations of water, dust and oil (in the case of oil injected compressors) generally found in compressed air. “The UD+ single filter replaces the two-filter solution currently used by over 50% of oil-injected compressor applications to achieve suitable quality compressed air,” states Atlas Copco Compressor Technique’s Industrial Air Business Line Manager Charl Ackerman.
