In a move to become a global leader in vacuum solutions, Atlas Copco established Vacuum Technique as a fifth business area on 1st January 2017. Vacuum solutions originally formed part of Atlas Copco Compressor Technique’s product portfolio. Following the vacuum business’s excellent growth over the past few years on the back of an exceptional product and service offering as well as the acquisition of several respected companies such as Edwards Group and Leybold, Vacuum Technique earned its status as a separate business area.
