Additives protect gears in industrial transmissions
Published: 07 Jun 24
Industrial equipment supplier BMG has introduced the Cera Tec high performance additives to its range of industrial lubricants. The additives offer significant resistance to high temperature and pressure, effectively protecting gears in various sectors, including sugar mills, mining, chemical plants, manufacturing, and general engineering. Developed by oils, lubricants and additives specialist Liqui Moly, Cera Tec is a micro-ceramic solid lubricant suspension based on hexagonal boron nitride (BN) in selected base oils. The lubricant reduces friction and protects the engine and transmission from wear, extending service life of assemblies, says BMG power transmission, agricultural, automotive and lubrication divisions business development manager Carlo Beukes.
