 Abstract: The cost of illegal mining is estimated to be over R70 billion annually in gold alone and resulting in huge losses of revenue for both government and the mining sector. Other than the financial impact, the safety and security of communities and the core of our country is under attack, being stripped of its resources, therefore, Pinpoint Stewards will be hosting the 3rd Annual Mine Security Conference that takes place on 19-20 June, Indaba Hotel, Johannesburg. The two-day conference will focus on protecting mineral resources & infrastructure by applying stronger mine security measures through intelligence sharing.
