 Abstract: The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa) is calling for written comments on an application by Eskom to implement a two-year incentive pricing package that will enable the restart of ferrosilicon production in the Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces. The regulator turned down an earlier request for the implementation of a so-called negotiated pricing agreement (NPA) between the two companies, owing to the absence of a framework for adjudicating such applications.
