 Abstract: The Simatic Energy Manager Basic solution has been designed for entry-level energy management, and includes Web-based dashboards and access to a cloud-based open Internet of Things analytics platform, as well as a mobile application (app) to monitor consumption data, says industrial control equipment multinational Siemens. “The scalable energy management system links energy and production data, which enables users to calculate the productivity of energy consumption. The solution enables users to visualise in detail energy flows and consumption values in processes and assign them to the relevant users or cost centres, as well as identify changes,” the company says.
