Gold hopeful WPG Resources is hoping to start production at its Tarcoola gold project, in South Australia, by the second quarter of 2016, subject to financing.
The company is currently undertaking a feasibility study on the Tarcoola project to consider mining production rates of between 250 000 t/y and 350 000 t/y, mining ore from a single large and a smaller satellite openpit, and processing using a proven heap leach approach to the recovery of gold.
