Winmar gets mining licence in WA

Iron-ore developer Winmar Resources has been awarded a mining lease at its Hamersley iron-ore project, in Western Australia, securing the title on which the company would develop the Winmar deposit. The mining lease covers 1 042 ha and incorporates the Winmar deposit, which is estimated to host a mineral resource of 343.2-million tonnes, grading 54.5% iron.
