Western Cape human settlements dept launches its own reserve fund

The Western Cape government has launched the Western Cape Asset Finance Reserve for Human Settlements (WCAFRHS), with the aim to strengthen the provincial Department of Human Settlement’s ability to drastically improve the lives of the people of the province. The launch of the WCAFRHS was first initiated in June 2020 and announced during the tabling of the 2021/22 departmental budget on March 30, 2021.
