WATER
WEC Projects, a contractor specialising in turnkey water and wastewater treatment solutions in South Africa, has acquired a majority stake in cooling tower and industrial cooling solutions specialist Industrial Water Cooling. IWC announced on Tuesday that the partnership was effective immediately and replaced private equity company Medu Capital’s stake in IWC. “I am very pleased to announce that we have a new business partner in WEC Projects. I am of the firm belief that in WEC we have found a like-minded business partner that understands the contracting environment in which we operate,” said IWC MD Roger Rusch.
