Gold miner Troy Resources has received the final environmental permit for its Karouni gold project, in Guyana, paving the way for construction to start and operations to follow in the second quarter.
The environmental approval followed a detailed review and assessment of the environmental and social impact assessment. The permit is valid for a five-year period, and formed an essential requirement for approval and operation of the mining licence.
