Transnet continues to boost maritime skills

State-owned Transnet has further committed to building and strengthening the country’s oceans economy with a further intake of trainees for its maritime training academy, the Maritime School of Excellence (MSoE), in Durban. The intake of unemployed learners is part of Transnet’s Market Demand Strategy and the majority of learners are absorbed into the employ of Transnet’s two maritime operational divisions – Transnet National Ports Authority and Transnet Port Terminals.
