Three people were arrested for stealing cable from the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa) in the vicinity of the notorious "Bonteheuwel split" on the Cape Town rail network, police said on Wednesday. "Ongoing operations to combat crime on the train lines in the province were fruitful in Bishop Lavis last night (Tuesday) when police responded to information they received," said spokesperson Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana.
