State-owned Trans Caledonian Tunnel Authority (TCTA) completed two significant projects, the Mooi-Mgeni Transfer Scheme (MMTS) Phase 2 and the Acid Mine Drainage Short-term Intervention (AMD-STI) Eastern Basin plant during the 2017 financial year, CEO Leonard Radzuma said on Thursday. Presenting the entity’s annual report, he highlighted that the MMTS Phase 2 pump station and pipeline had been ready for operation by June 2016, while the AMD-STI Eastern Basin plant had been ready for trial operation by March 2016, and ready for handover by August 2016. Both projects met the requirement deadlines.
