Taseko adds 2 500 ha to Gibraltar landholdings

British Columbia-based base metals producer Taseko Mines has acquired about 2 500 ha in new mineral claims that are located next to the existing Gibraltar claims. However, these are well outside the current mining areas, the company announced Tuesday. The new claims were located about 2 km north-west of the flagship mine’s Extension Zone that formed part of the operation’s current compliant resources and reserves.
