Intermediate gold producer Kirkland Lake Gold on Monday announced that president and CEO George Ogilvie resigned from the company and board on Sunday, with Tahoe Resources’ head of Canadian operations Anthony Makuch taking his place in the weeks to come. Current director Barry Olson would assume the role of interim CEO until Makuch had completed his duties in his current role.
