Ecuador-focused copper developer SolGold raises £27m

London- and Toronto-listed SolGold has announced it is raising another £16-million, or $20-million. The fundraising, at a price of 21.5p a share, comprises a placing of more than 74.4-million new ordinary shares, which is fully underwritten to new and existing institutional investors, as well as a proposed conditional subscription by management either directly or through associated entities.
