Savage River contractor killed in 'serious safety incident'

Magnetite miner Grange Resources has suspended share trading following a fatality at its Savage River mine, in Tasmania. The miner on Monday said a specialist contractor had been involved in a "serious safety incident" at the Savage River mine’s North pit on Friday, with reports stating that the man had succumbed to his injuries after falling a "considerable distance".
