Mining giant Rio Tinto’s incoming CEO Jean-Sébastien Jacques on Thursday told shareholders at the company’s annual general meeting, in Brisbane, that his focus would remain firmly on productivity improvements. Jacques, who was previously employed as Rio’s copper and coal CEO, will succeed Sam Walsh when he retires in July this year.
