Rio creates new commercial roleBy:Creamer Media Senior Deputy Editor: Australasia DIVERSIFIED MINER Mining major Rio Tinto has appointed Simon Trott as its chief commercial officer (CCO), reinforcing the miner’s focus on driving value across the business.
Trott, who is currently the salt, uranium and borates MD, will report directly to the company’s CEO and will form part of Rio’s executive committee.
