Randgold’s Tongon to meet FY16 production guidance

Randgold Resources on Friday said its Tongon mine, in Côte d’Ivoire, would meet the revised production guidance for 2016 on the back of ongoing significant performance improvements. Tongon is expected to hit the targeted output of 260 000 oz of gold for 2016, with expectations of 285 000 oz of production in 2017 and 290 000 oz thereafter each year for the next three years.
