Prominent Hill openpit closure brought forwardBy:Creamer Media Senior Deputy Editor: Australasia COPPER/GOLD Copper/gold miner Oz Minerals will bring forward the closure of its openpit operations at the Prominent Hill mine, in South Australia, from the mid-2018 to the first quarter of the year.
About A$10-million will be saved through the accelerated plan, the company reported on Monday, as it released its September quarter results.
