Primero reports fatality at Mexico mine

Canadian precious metals producer Primero Mining has suffered a fatal accident at its San Dimas mine, in Mexico, last week. The company reported on Friday that an employee of one of its contractors had died in an underground incident the previous day. Primero, which also owns the Cerro del Gallo development project in Mexico and mines in Canada, said the fatality was an isolated incident and that normal operations continued while authorities investigated the accident.
