Nersa approves five generation licence applications for BW6 bidders

The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa) has approved generation licences for five preferred bidders of the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy's Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme Bid Window (BW) 6. The five preferred bidders’ projects include the 120 MW Doornhook solar photovoltaic PV project; the 150 MW Boitumelo solar PV power plant; and the 150 MW Kutlwano solar PV power plant, in the North West.
