MMK increases output of galvanized steel

New hot-dip galvanizing line from SMS group on stream at MMK The Russian steelmaker PJSC Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has commissioned the new continuous hot-dip galvanizing line No. 3 in July 2017 according to schedule. The facility was completely supplied by SMS group (www.sms-group.com) and is designed to process 360,000 tons of galvanized cold strip per year. With this line, MMK has enhanced its production capacity of galvanized steel by almost 20 percent to reach an annual output of more than two million tons.
