Metso’s new crusher reduces costs, improves uptime by 10%

Diversified engineering group Metso launched its new rock crushing technology at the Conexpo-Con/Agg 2017 industry event in Las Vegas, in the US last month. The Metso MX cone crusher is based on the company’s patented Multi-Action crushing technology, which combines the piston and rotating bowl into a single crusher. Metso states that the new crusher provides a “giant leap” in profitability by cutting operational costs 10% and enabling 10% higher uptime compared to traditional cone crushers.
