The Malawi government is inviting proposals from international information technology firms for the supply and installation of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to drive its integrated financial management system (IFMIS), which connects the financial systems of all its Ministries and departments, through a fibre-optic wide area network, to a data centre at the Accountant-General’s department. Malawi’s Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Development says the proposals should be based on any of Oracle, SAP and Epicor.
