Headquartered on the East Rand, KSB Pumps and Valves in an original-equipment manufacturer of technologically advanced pumps, valves and related products for sectors including water, sewerage, chemicals, petrochemicals, steel, mining, energy and building services. Since 1959, the company has targeted pumps for the African market that are mostly manufactured under licence to German and US principals. Shareholders of the company comprise KSB Pumps and Compo Physic Trade, with 85% plus one share and 15% plus one share respectively. Operations include full service solutions for fluid transfer applications, with sales, service and maintenance tailored to individual customers’ requirements. The manufacturing and sales facility in Germiston, east of Johannesburg, occupies a 38 383nm² site, 36740bm² of which is under cover.
