COPPER
Ivanhoe Mines expects to issue an initial mineral resource estimate for its Kakula discovery, which forms part of the Democratic Republic of Congo-based Kamoa copper project, by next week. The TSX-listed company, led by Lars-Eric Johansson, has been engaging in a 2016 drilling campaign at the discovery, which continued to demonstrate that it is substantially richer, thicker and more consistent than other mineralisation at the Kamoa project.
