Goldsource pours first gold in Guyana

TSX-V-listed Goldsource Mines this week announced the first gold pour at its flagship Eagle Mountain Gold mine, in Guyana, the third gold mine to come on stream in the country in less than a year. President Ioannis Tsitos told Mining Weekly Online in a recent interview that declaring commercial production was the next milestone, which required achieving 80% of nameplate capacity at about 1 000 t/d.
