The prestigious Hugh K. Coble award was recently presented to Fluor South Africa for the Natref Clean Fuels II/Octane Project located in Sasolburg, South Africa. Fluor was awarded a contract by Sasol Group Technology in June 2013 to perform basic engineering services associated with the Natref Clean Fuels II Project. The purpose of the project was to develop, design and build new process units on the site to meet the legislated fuel specifications as promulgated by the South Africa government. Natref, the only inland crude refinery in South Africa, is a joint venture between Sasol and Total.
