First copper plated at Wetar expansion projectBy:Creamer Media Senior Deputy Editor Online BASE METALS Base metals miner Flinders Resources has plated the first copper at the recently commissioned 25 000 t/y copper cathode solvent extraction electrowinning (SX-EW) plant of the Wetar project in Indonesia.
The expansion project would add to the already operating 3 000 t/y SX-EW plant, lifting production to 28 000 t/y.
