Engen, the African energy multinational, has bought a 15% ownership stake in the JUHI jet fuel storage facility at the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (SSRIA) near the Mauritian capital of Port Louis. Joan Njoroge, managing director of Engen Petroleum Mauritius, explains that jet fuel storage facilities are most often run in consortia, to minimise the number of depots and therefore airport security risks.
