Department to hand over draft water master plan in October

The Department of Water and Sanitation has until the second week of October to submit a draft National Water and Sanitation Master Plan to the Portfolio Committee on Water and Sanitation. The development of the master plan is aimed at ensuring effective oversight over the department and ensuring implementation of water policy, while allowing for decisive decision-making when it comes to the scarce commodity.
