COPPER
Copper production in Chile, the world's No 1 exporter, will likely not grow next year against a backdrop of low prices and high costs, a local industry body said on Thursday.
Chile is expected to produce some 5.85-million tonnes of copper in 2016 with an export value of around $35-billion, said national mining association Sonami.
