Having secured all the necessary approvals, the management team of near-term gold producer Blackham Resources is now focused on preparing for the start of openpit mining at the ASX-listed company’s Matilda gold project, in Western Australia. The company plans to start mining in three weeks at the 4.8-million-ounce gold resource, located within an 860 km2 tenement package that had historically produced more than 4.3-million ounces.
