BHP cuts ties with Jubilee

Diversified mining major BHP Billiton on Wednesday informed dual-listed Jubilee Platinum that a tailings supply agreement between the two companies, signed in 2005, has been terminated. The agreement relates to BHP’s Leinster nickel operations, in Western Australia, and Jubilee subsidiary Braemore Nickel, which has subsequently informed BHP that it has rejected the termination notice.
