Barrick appoints new CFO

The world’s largest gold producer Barrick Gold has appointed executive VP for business performance Catherine Raw as its new CFO, effective from April 26. Raw would replace current senior executive VP and CFO Shaun Usmar, who had resigned from Barrick in order to lead a new venture in Toronto backed by Elliott Management, focused on royalty, streaming, and other forms of investments in the mining industry.
