Recently completed and assayed soil grab samples from the Anumso gold project, in Ghana, have revealed “exciting new target discoveries”, with preliminary metallurgical testwork on material showing “very encouraging” results with high levels of gold recovery. In an exploration update to the market this week, TSX-V-listed Ashanti Gold said new soil sample results from previously underexplored areas have encountered multiple parallel mineralised zones, which were, in aggregate, up to 480 m wide in certain areas of the mineralisation.
