NICKEL
A joint venture between TSX-V-listed companies TVI Pacific and Mindoro Resources, Agata Mining Ventures Incorporated (AMVI), is among 12 mining companies that have passed an audit by the Philippine Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and will be allowed to continue operating. AMVI, in which TVI's 30.66%-owned subsidiary TVI Resource Development (TVIRD) holds a 60% interest, operates the Agata nickel laterite mine, in Northern Mindanao, Philippines.
