Amplats reports fatality after accident at ThembelaniBy:MINING SAFETY Platinum miner Anglo American Platinum (Amplats) on Wednesday reported that an employee had died after sustaining injuries from an incident at its Khuseleka shaft at the Thembelani mine in March. The employee was injured during a rock conveyance incident on March 31, succumbing on July 9 to an infection while being treated for his injuries.
