The journey of a Sasol replacement acid gas scrubber column is nearly complete, with the 91 000 kg, 60-m-long abnormal load set to arrive in Secunda on Friday, after three days on the road. The Kelvion Thermal Solutions-manufactured scrubber column left Germiston, Gauteng, late on Tuesday and will replace the AK existing column, which has reached the end of its lifespan.
