29Metals halts operations at CapricornBy:Creamer Media Senior Deputy Editor Online COPPER Operations at the Capricorn copper mine, in Queensland, will be suspended and the headcount of the mine will be significantly reduced, ASX-listed 29Metals said on Tuesday.
The decision comes as a response to an extended period rainfall spanning late January to mid-March, exacerbated by successive tropical cyclones in the region.
