PotashCorp confirms potential play for Germany’s K+S

Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan (PotashCorp) has made a private proposal to Germany-based K+S to negotiate the acquisition of the company – Europe's largest supplier of potash for fertiliser use. TSX- and NYSE-listed PotashCorp advised in a statement that there was no certainty that an offer would be made or as to the terms under which such an offer might be made.
