Dormac’s floating dry dock halfway to South AfricaBy:PORTS South Africa’s new floating dock has passed the halfway mark as it traverses an 8 000-plus nautical mile passage from Ukraine to arrive at the Port of Durban by the end of June. The new multimillion-rand Dormac Dock 1 would be anchored at owner and operator marine engineering company Dormac Marine and Engineering’s upgraded 160 m quay.
