Damage to tube and pipe weld purging systems eliminated

Welding metallurgy and gas physics specialists Huntingdon Fusion Techniques (HFT) have designed Argweld heat resistant covers to eliminate damaging or bursting inflatable dams on tube and pipe weld purging systems owing to exposure to high temperatures. HFT distributor support Luke Keane notes that weld purging is essential when welding metal tubes and pipes made from stainless steel, titanium and zirconium, in order to achieve non-oxidised, zero colour welds.
