BMW SA seeks greater govt commitment for EV expansion in SABy:Creamer Media Senior Deputy Editor AUTO INDUSTRY Two years after its market launch in South Africa, the BMW i-brand has established itself as the best selling electric vehicle (EV) and plug-in-hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) in the country. Since the i-brand’s market introduction in March 2015, a total of 419 BMW i models have been delivered to customers in South Africa.
