South Africa’s Department of Mineral Resources and Energy has dismissed a third party's appeal against the granting of a mining permit for Aim-listed investment company Kazera Global’s 60%-owned subsidiary Whale Head Minerals (WHM). WHM now expects to shortly receive final documentation allowing it to start heavy mineral sands (HMS) production at the Walviskop mine, in the Northern Cape.
